Keep on waiting !

Juz came back from my reservist training, which was from 10th to 21st of the month. This time the atmosphere was not as noisy as b4 since the loudest person in our platoon deferred due to his work.

First week, we did a couple of things. Our shooting test was different as before, to get marksmanship with the $200 incentive, we have to passed with 80% on target as a group. Which means the whole group total score must be 80% or above. And the format of the shoot is different too. We have to shoot in leap and bound which is quite dangerous especially during the night shoot. This time I was forced to use my right hand to shoot, even though I am a lefty and left mastereye(they said that it's a right handed weapon). Not bad still, only missed 2 day and 3 night shots. Our group got the $200 per person eventually.

Next thing was the IV (Intra-Venis Infusion). Did it once during my active days, but didn't expect to do it again in our reservist. arghhh! Though it's a life saving skill we need when we are really out in the war, but who is not afraid of the needle? the needle is as thick as half of those straws you used to drink hot coffee from coffee bean. Worse thing is we have to do it on each other, one mistake will damage our partners vein. Thankfully nothing fatal happen, only see some spill blood on the floor. Junwei did it on jeff and me on junwei and jeff on me. All was sucessful but junwei got a huge patch of blue black bruise on his arm. Bad news: We have to do it on every high key reservist.

Nothing really interesting happened during the rest of our reservist, the food especially the breakfast still sucks. Until the last nite, we had our tradition game of cards and dices where the loser will have to drink. This year, we didn't drink beer, but eng keong brought in some liqour instead. We have the fatal bombay sapphire(though I think it's quite nice), peach vodka, jim beam and absolut original(didn't see this). Our common target got drunk and vomitted chicken chops and fried rice in the end !*misson accomplised!

Next day after the out process, some of us met up at bugis area at the seven storey hotel for steamboat and went drinking after that. Photos coming up soon...
